Also called German Extra Hardy, this one does well in cold weather! It is a Porcelain Hardneck variety and produces large heads that are picture perfect, with 5-7 extra large cloves that have easy to peel pink colored skins. It is just beautiful roasted, and the flavor is great in sauces, pesto, whatever you need. It will store well for you in cool dry conditions. approximately 4-5 heads per lb. You’ll get a wonderful crop of scapes in the early summer as well!
