Nootka Rose Garlic was grown first on a farm in Washington State. It is a softneck garlic, and the heads are 5-6 per lb. Each head has between 12-20 cloves within, with delicate rose tinted paper skin. It has good storage life, and makes a great choice for raw or cooking. This is a medium spicy variety of garlic that is bold. It is our latest variety to harvest, so it makes a good addition to your variety of garlic to plant year after year. Good for braiding as well.
